I bought a card reader:

Installation

The connector of the Apacer card reader has the following pin layout:

This is different from my MS-6340 motherboard which has the following pin layout:

I punched pin 9 of the connector and rewired pins 2 > 10, 4 > 8, 8 > 4. I was able to rewire the connector by lifting the tiny plastic black levers on top of the pins with the tip of a Stanley knife.

MS-6167

The USB front panel connector of the MS-6167 motherboard is told to have the following pin layout:

Can't find USB pin layout of MS-6167 motherboard. The manual only shows the location of pin 1.
